Ryan P. Taylor is the founder and Managing Partner of Richmond Hill Investment Co., LP, an investment firm dedicated to the preservation and growth of capital through disciplined, long-term value investing. The firm allocates capital on an opportunistic basis across a wide variety of asset classes and industries. Richmond Hill and related parties began investing in June 2008 and have combined assets under management of approximately $500 million. Prior to joining Richmond Hill, Mr. Taylor spent 10 years at Greenhill & Co., Inc., most recently as a Principal. Mr. Taylor joined Greenhill in 1998 in the firm’s first financial analyst class. During his tenure at Greenhill, Mr. Taylor analyzed and advised companies in a range of industries and an array of transaction structures, including public and private company acquisitions and divestitures, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures and joint venture acquisitions, spin-offs and in- and out-of-court restructurings. Mr. Taylor earned a B.B.A. in Finance with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998.
